Warm up in the colder months with this colorful Apple Cranberry Almond Crumble made with our gluten free pie crust mix.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 3 medium sized apples, peeled, cored and med dice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (more to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- 1 Pie Crust Mix from Anna, prepared per package instructions (use half of the dough to press into bottom of nine inch pan, extra dough can be frozen)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine all ingredients and pour into pie shell.
- Bake for one hour or until apples are tender.
Cool and serve with yogurt for breakfast or ice cream for a dessert treat.
Yields 6-8 servings.
